On July 23, 2009, Fuji Dream Airlines launched scheduled flight routes from its base at Shizuoka Airport to Komatsu, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima.
We are challenging a new business model in the aviation industry by connecting various parts of Japan with small regional jets. Currently, we operate 15 small jet passenger aircraft, Embraer 170/175, and in June 2010, we opened routes from Matsumoto Airport to Sapporo (New Chitose) and Fukuoka. In October 2010, we opened the Nagoya (Komaki) = Fukuoka route, and have expanded our routes to Kumamoto, Hanamaki, Aomori, Niigata, Kochi, Yamagata, and Izumo.
Regional aviation businesses that directly connect regions by air have an important role to play in increasing convenience for people in regional cities and contributing to the revitalization of local communities and economies. Our goal is to create safe and comfortable air travel, making the lives and societies of people in our destinations and the surrounding areas more convenient and prosperous.

Fuji, a scene that gives every Japanese a sense of relief and elation, is combined with the bright future of Shizuoka Prefecture. The colorful logo represents Mt. Fuji, which shows different faces depending on how the sun hits it. The three white lines represent the wake of an airplane.
