Sapporo (Okadama) Airport is located about 6km northeast of central Sapporo, and is an airport with very convenient access to the city of Sapporo. Regular flights also operate from the airport to Hakodate, Rishiri, and Kushiro, making it a useful base for sightseeing in Hokkaido.
