Checked baggage

We will accept up to 50cm x 60cm x 120cm and up to 20kg of luggage per person free of charge, with no limit on the number of pieces.
Baggage weighing more than 20kg up to 100kg will be accepted at an excess baggage fee of 600 yen per kilogram.

The size of the baggage includes the wheels and handles.

You can check in excess of 20kg up to 100kg in total, and an excess baggage fee of 600 yen will be charged for each excess kilogram. However, we cannot check in more than 100kg of baggage per person.

Please go through baggage inspection (X-ray inspection) and then check your luggage at the baggage check-in counter. Please note that at some airports, boarding procedures and baggage check-in may be done at the same time.

Checked baggage will be subject to X-ray inspection at the baggage inspection area, and may need to be opened for inspection. A sticker indicating that the baggage has been inspected will be affixed to the baggage after inspection, so if this is not convenient for you, please inform the inspection staff.
If you have baggage that you are concerned about being affected by X-rays, please inform the screening staff.

Any item that is explosive, flammable, or that may cause harm to people or damage other property is prohibited by law from being transported by aircraft and cannot be checked in or carried on board.

We will accept sports equipment up to 2.5 metres in length

When checking in musical instruments, sporting goods (golf clubs, surfing equipment, scuba diving equipment, bicycles, etc.), or other fragile items, we ask that you please pack them adequately for air transport.

No. Only small, portable lighters can be carried on board, up to one per person, but there are some types of lighters that cannot be carried on board, such as turbo lighters and cigar lighters.

There are no restrictions on checked or carry-on luggage.

However, please carry bottled alcohol on board as there is a risk of it being damaged.

Yes, we can accept dry ice. However, please make sure to pack it carefully to prevent water leakage. If the dry ice has a strong odor or is a nuisance to other customers, we may refuse to allow it to be checked in or carried on. If you are including dry ice to keep your luggage cool, please make sure to open the vents to prevent the package from bursting, and be sure to inform the baggage counter staff. Dry ice is limited to 2.5 kg per person.

You can check in items up to 0.5 liters or 0.5 kg per container, and up to 2 liters or 2 kg per person. However, sprays that contain flammable gases cannot be checked in.

We can accept your items, but please pack them carefully to prevent water or soil from spilling.

We can accept your pets as long as they are placed in an appropriate container such as an aquarium or insect cage and packed in a way that prevents leakage.

We will only accept domesticated small animals such as dogs, cats, and birds, and you will be required to pay a separate pet fee (a flat rate of 5,000 yen per crate per section).

We have crates available for rent. You can choose from S/M/L sizes, but as the number is limited, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

Once you have collected your checked baggage, please promptly check the status of your baggage and notify an airport staff member.
Please note that we are not liable for damage caused by excess weight/excessive capacity, damage due to defects inherent to baggage such as deterioration, loss of protruding accessories such as detachable casters/straps/hooks/name tags/belts, or minor damage (scratches/cuts/dents/dirt).

FDA cannot ship your item, so please consider other means.

FDA does not offer temporary baggage storage.
